That is exactly why after we bought the S but before we had the garage built I built what my neighbor dubbed the "car condom" to keep our stray cat that had adopted us off of the hood. We where concerned that he would jump up on the hood to stay warm and dent it.

The only blemishes I have on my S2000 were done by some cat from the neighborhood that decided to climb around on my car in my garage - twice. There's a leash law here, but I don't even know who is violating it.

I hate to see any animal die - even the deer that constantly eat our decorative plants. And my gut reaction is to wince when seeing this clip. But a part of me feels like my college football team just scored a winning touchdown.

Personally, I'd prefer to see the owner of that cat get stuck in that sunrooof, knowing that he/she should not have allowed their beloved pet to crawl on top of someone else's prized posession.

What a concept! Taking personal responsibility for the actions of your pets or children for that matter? Or in the case of children holding them accountable for their actions if they are over about the age of thinking, and knowing right from wrong?

Now that we have a garage. We have trained our stray that the garage is off limits to him. Whenever he goes near the open door, we clap our hands and tell him NO!. Sometimes, when I am in the garage, he will sit just outside the door and look in, but will not come inside.

Unless your cat is an ocelot or a leopard, I doubt it would dent your hood. My concern is mostly that if the cat were lying on my hood or trunk and was startled, it might extend its claws as it jumped off the car.

Funny, I was at Petland today and as I walked past a tabby, it gave me the cutest "Please take me away from all this" look. Obviously this cat had not received the message from my neighbor's cats - then again, perhaps it had.

20 minutes left in 2004 - Happy New Year.

I don't know. He is a Manx. Yes, a tail less cat that adopted us after he was abandoned. He probably weighs six to eight pounds and I think giving how thin the hood is he may have the capacity to dent it.

But that is not an issue since Nov 03 when our baby receieved shelter.
