So sorry to learn of your loss. Unfortunately, death is part of life. We hope that her memory will live on in your heart and mind. Our condolences to the family.

Mike, that's sad; very sad. Thinking of you.

Thanks all. It still seems strange to me sometimes to know that my go to support group is a forum on an Internet site but you folks are the best I've got.

Thankfully one of my neighbors is a funeral director and we got him and my brother together by phone to work on the arrangements. They should both be back in town tonight and the arrangements finalized tomorrow.

I've spoken with my brother by phone and he seems OK for now. Then again he's the oldest and feels he needs to be stoic all the time but I know that can't last. I just want to be there when that quits working for him.

^ I'm sure your support will be greatly appreciated. I have some family members here right now supporting my mom and dad as he prepares to enter hospice care. My thoughts are with you and the family.

The visitation and service will be Saturday. I like the idea of doing this all in one day. I think it will be easier for all concerned.

Thanks again everyone.
