I came up with a great exercise routine.
First I lift 260 lb with one leg and then I lift 260 with the other leg and I repeat until I get to the top step.
If I'm adventurous, I'll do another flight.

^ Funny…Actually stair climbing is very good exercise. When Vito and I walk in the building (which with today’s awful air and heat we will do), it involves climbing up to the next level and walking down the hall and doing the same thing. Up 18 flights of stairs, then walk down. There are 18 floors here so 36 flights in total. Can mix it up however we want.

Deb, I am guessing, though, that you are not lifting a 260 lb weight when you are going up and down the stairs.

True…so he would be able to do 40% of it and achieve the same results.

OMG 18 flights would put me down for a week.
in fact 10 flights almost put me in the hospital before my stent.

We have a stair stepper machine at our fitness club. It is definitely a good cardio exercise and it has helped me hit the golf ball farther.
