Default John Wooden RIP

RIP to one of the best coaches the world has ever seen. John Wooden dead at 99.

John Wooden's Seven Point Creed

* Be true to yourself.
* Make each day your masterpiece.
* Help others.
* Drink deeply from good books, especially the Bible.
* Make friendship a fine art.
* Build a shelter against a rainy day.
* Pray for guidance and give thanks for your blessings every day.

A fine man indeed. RIP

^^

He was an amazing teacher/coach/example! He touched thousands of lives with his positive influence, and he stayed mentally sharp until the end of his 99 years.

Now John has gone home, and is reunited with his beloved wife.

RIP Coach. We miss you already.

RIP.

It's a shame the things he taught no longer seem to apply in the "one and done" reality of NCAA basketball today.
