jewelry - any suggestions

^^ sources of estate jewelry. Antique auctions. higher end antique shops, Safety Deposit box content auctions. All over Florida.
At lesser auctions, gold jewelry and various silver often sells well below the value of its precious metal content. More recently, the precious metal enterprisers have been much more active.

I ended up buying the ring from the local jewelry shop but the xerox certificate from Sam's helped lower the price. The local shop had it sized and ready for dinner tonight (her birthday dinner) and it was a nice surprise for her. . . since she already knew of the ridding boots, etc. that I bought for her. Damn, am I good guy or what. Thanks for the input, it really did help.

Believe it or not, Ebay. As Ray said, a great name is David Yurman. I really like the "pillow cut" he does on the cocktail ring stones he does.
When you input a name like David Yurman or Cartier or Tiffany, lots of different stuff comes up (too much). Good luck!

BTW, what did the jeweler say about Sam's to change your mind? Or did you just like their ring better?

I've always believed that jewelry is an art and it's the thought in selecting something for someone special that really gives it value. Jewelry is worn close. It's personal and it touches you.
It is an expression of love.
