Occasionally I use the mouse in my left hand. I do not change the mouse setup. I just told my left hand to left click with the social finger and right click with the index finger. Works for me.

Be sure to follow through with your physical therapy. My wife had rotator cuff surgery in 2002. When the insurance stopped the physical therapy, she quit doing the exercises. Today the muscle has atrophied to the point where she can only raise her hand even wth her chest. She has been learning to operate a fork with her left hand. I guess I should have purchased a whip and set up an exercise schedule for her.
I promise to be diligent. I was very diligent with the first round of therapy which yielded no results.

I have heard many horror stories of pain from this surgery and I'm happy to report the pain level was never more than a 4-5 at most. I think I'll try ditching the narcotics after tonight.

Lainey, glad to see your light bulb on and see that you're posting again!

Hope you continue to heal and get off those drugs!

I'm almost ready to ditch the vicodin...maybe by tomorrow, I'll start cutting back.

The sun is out going to see if I can sit on my deck for a while with a book.

How about sending me the rest. I strained my back at work today. Honest.

How do you turn the pages?

You may want to reconsider totally ditching the vicodin. Pain management is very important in the healing process and unfortunately by the time you're feeling the pain it takes a while for the vicodin to kick in.

Yeah.PA at the doc's office said no ditching allowed. I can stretch out the time between doses, but no weaning off for a few more days.

I get to shower and wash my hair tomorrow! one handed of course.....

I manage page turning, OK but not too much reading, drug fogged brain....

I could send you percotte as those made me ill, but that would be against the law.

I understand. I thought percotte was some sort of Italian dish anyway.
