Default Interesting cars I saw in Japan.

I spent two weeks sightseeing in Japan in October.

I did not see a single S2000 while I was there. But I did see some interesting cars. Imported cars are not common. You see quite a few Mercedes and some BMW. The few American cars are mostly Cadillacs.

There is a class of cars there that is limited in size and weight and with a 600 cc. engine limit. They have proliferated in the last 5 years simce they get taxed at a much lower rate. They can be identified by their yellow license plates.

Here is a such a Honda.

Here is another mini car that has been painted to look like a VW bus.

This car looks like a shrunken Jaguar. I could not identify the manufacturer.

I can't imagine how this Lexus can make turns!

Finally, this is the only exotic that I saw. The owner got in while I was taking this picture and took off making a lot of noise.

I love the wacky English language names the Japanese give some of those weird little cars.

Mazda Bongo Brawny

Honda Acty Crawler

Mitsubishi Guts Chariot

Nissan Big Thumb

Suzuki Every Wagon Joypop Turbo R

Honda Life Dunk

Isuzu's Mysterious Utility

Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear
