Ice Hockey 2016-2017 season
Starting a fresh thread for another season of hockey! If you're a fan we'd love to hear from you and what's up with your team.I'm really early this year - right? But heck, trades are going on. Hope is in the air. How is your team doing in the off-season?
Are You Ready For Some Hockey?
You know your team is desperate for decent players when you offer long term contracts to 32-year old players. Wings just signed a six-year contract for 32- year old Frans Nielsen and Bruins signed a five-year contract for 32-year old David Backes. Hope it works out well in the short term for both teams.

As far a trades have gone to date I don't see much improvement for next season for the Bruins. Hope I'm wrong.

When it comes to hockey it seems players that 'really' make a difference are in short supply every year.
