Default I wish Winter was over already.

I'm tired of the snow and the cold and the salt and sand on the roads. I leave for work before the sun is up and come home after dark. I miss daylight savings time.

I only put 33 miles on my S in January and I haven't had it out of the garage since January 10th.

I'm tired of winter. I wish spring would get here already. How about you?

Yup. I like lots of snow & nasty cold, but only for a short while. After months of it I'm tired of it. I can't wait for this global warming thing to take off.

Ralper,

I am a fair weather person through and through. Even the slightest cold day, or dusting of snow turns my day upside down. Like you, I wish that it was Spring already. I'm convinced I have S.A.D

This winter has been especially bitter, and the snow arrived as early as the second week in September. Since I was on holidays that month, the last time my S2000 saw dry, paved asphalt was September 2 2003. Imagine just how stir crazy I'm going!

Luckily this weekend marks the 1/2 way point for February. A month and a bit now, and it will officially be Spring.

Chin up brother!

Asif

I like winter, I don't think I could take a climate that didn't include snow. I love taking long hikes in the cold (as long as the wind isn't too extreme). The way I look at it, you can always put more clothes on. When your nearly naked, and still sweating like a hog, what can you do except go inside and hide in the A/C?

Don't get me wrong, I like the change of seasons too. I like winter and snow and cold, but only in small doses. If winter could start on January 1st and be over by January 15th it would be perfect. I'd add 1 1/2 more months to summer and a few weeks to spring and fall.

I'd make daylight savings time last all year round, just so that we could get to see the sun sometimes.

Yea, it's got to be a bummer for you right now. The busy season, never seeing the sun. Better keep eating oranges, or you'll end up with scurvy before April 15th gets here!

Rob, As I was walking the dogs tonight, I was thinking how nice it was outside. The sun was still up and even though there was a wind, it was tolerable. I was very surprised to see that the temperature was 36 degrees when I got home. My dogs really insist that I take them for a walk every day. There are very few days that we don't go for the daily walk.

It has been below freezing for so long around here, I don't remember how old the snow on the ground is any more. I can't wait to get the top down again. It makes the drive to and from work so much more enjoyable with the top down. I always look forward to the day that the snow tires come off the car. It will be here soon.

Around Seattle, the bugs were pestering me last weekend and tonight the Canada Geese were squabbling over property rights. Spring can't be far away. When the swallows arrive is the day my Spring begins.

How have you been? We haven't "talked" in a long time.

I'd have my top down regardless of the temperature. I'm one of those people who just can't stand having the top up. Last year I had it down in 19* F weather. It really wasn't that cold (bundled up with the heater on) I haven't used my S because of the ice that seems to never go away. I think its called permafrost. I've never invested in winter tires, and I don't think it'd be particularly safe with the ice and the S02s. Anyway, I still have my 4Runner which I'm going to use until I give to my oldest son next year, so why chance it?

This is the first winter that I can remember in a long time where the temperatures have been at freezing or below for such an extended period of time. It seems to me that over the last 15 or so years, it would snow or get cold, but after a few days a rise in the temperature or a rain would melt or wash away the snow and ice. Not this year.
