The current issue of Automobile mag had an article about Moal and sons.
They are coach builders / hot rodders of remarkable capability.

but the article talked about the Moal Gatto. Technically a re-bodied 250 GTE ferrari but only the engine remains.
and that was converted to a 250 GTO configuration.









and the numbers:

SPECS
Chassis: Semi-monocoque with riveted and glued stressed panels
Engine: Ferrari 250 GTO Spec
Horspower: 300 @ 7800 RPM
Transmission: Tremec 5 speed
Weight: 2300 lbs
Wheels: Borrani wire

It's is a one-off design for a VERY rich dude. There are design clues from a variety of beautiful vintage cars built into the overall shape and it's totally modern inside. I love it!

That's very pretty. It looks like they started with an aluminum Shelby body. Hopefully they got the shifter in the right place. I wonder what the inside looks like. Hope they did some good ergonomics. Shelby never figured that out, that was the biggest turnoff on cobra replicars when I looked at them.
