I injured my ribs!

We're going to Solvang! I just decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and get with the program. I can't do the mountain roads with the Corvette guys, but we can meet up with them and visit before they roll, catch up with them again in Solvang for lunch, do the Hitching Post for dinner and Anderson's Split Pea Soup for breakfast. I'll try to really take it easy and Norco is my friend. "There's a killer on the road. His brain is squirming like a toad (opiods). Take a long holiday. Let your children play."

Yeah, broken clavicle, total hip replacement, anal surgery, colon and bladder surgery, broken rib. And that doesn't count three knee surgeries (and then severing my AC ligament), two shoulder surgeries, separated ribs, compound toe fracture, three Mohs skin cancer surgeries, three series of epidural injections for lower back pain (none of which worked).

Well, as for me, I had only one accident after thirty-five + years of cycling all over the US and Europe. As Lyle Lovett says, "Once Was Enough". And yeah, I was lying prone!
But, hey, this ain't my thread. I'm an unintended interloper. And The Raptor is hurting! Ouch!

Solvang was great! I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself. We ended meeting up with the Corvette guys on Saturday morning in Porter Ranch, we just didn't drive with them. We took Big Red up separately and met them on the other end for lunch. We did have a nice dinner at the Hitching Post, so all we really missed was the "spirited" ride up there with the guys. Solvang was very hot. The rides along the coast up and back were nice, at times quite foggy
