How much to insure 2004 S2000 in excellent condition?

Dennis,
After seeing a CarFax ad on TV I got curious as to how many S-2000s may be found. You may find the following link useful in making up your mind as to how much to insure your S for.

FWIIW: I was kind of surprise by this listing: https://www.carfax.com/vehicle/JHMAP11473T004605

My AP-1 engine has over 178K miles on it. A few years ago (when it had about 120K miles on it) I sent an oil sample off to Blackstone Labs and they stated that it should run for another couple of hundred thousand miles.
FWIIW: As I have always had an intermittent oil consumption issue I am looking forward to seeing if BG's Engine Performance Restoration product will help free up my sticky ring issue after my next oil change.

Car is "too good to be true" and we all know what our grandmothers advised us about that. Dealer got it for less for sure. Someone will buy it and probably be happy.
1. The car finish is highly suspect in my opinion since no S2000 ever survived more than a month in service without a stone chip on the front bumper.
2. About 65,000 S2000s imported. Maybe 100,000 worldwide but I've not seen the numbers. Still low production. Ford Mustang sales first quarter 2022 were roughly 14,000 (down 19% from 2021) or more than any annual sales of the S2000 in the USA.
3. Drop a sheet over the body of a beautifulwoman car and it's still beautiful.
4. CARFAX service history has several maintenance clues. Oil changes at other than Honda dealers probably had a generic oil filter -- but the car survived all these miles and changes so perhaps our (my) insistence on the S2000-specific oil filter is not quite as important as we think -- perhaps.
Nice to see another national base for S2000 sales. AutoTrader listings can search by Zipcode which is how I found mine back in 2014. At a dealer who paid less for it -- and I'm still happy.
