That's ok, Emil. Those are Canadian years! There's an exchange rate.

with the others about quality of life stuff. We have no children and we are both the youngest ones in our familiies. I would never want to become a burden on my niece or nephews (not that they would be care takers).

I got into a discussion just last week with a few coworkers about retirement, which I hope to experience at some point in the next decade,if not sooner. The subject came up that if "one" really knew that date that the end was going to come naturally one could take out a reverse mortgage and have a Hell of a good time spending the last penny in that last hour of life. I made the comment that I could see the headlines now: Elderly man drives Ferarri
into bridge abutment on Washington Beltway. The unusual thing is: He was 89 years old and doing 140 MPH. He apparently died on impact, not from the fire when the gas tank exploded on impact. A letter arrived at a relatives house saying his good byes and stating that a half a tank of gas was cheaper than cremation in the funeral business. Film at 11:00,

Or go the way Johnny Carson once stated on The Tonight Show. Years ago they use to hand out cards where people in the audience would ask Johnny questions. One night, someone asked him how he wanted to die? He thought for a second and then with that "classic dead pan" look that he was famous for looked right at the camera and stated: "Asphyxiation! (after a pregnant pause for comedic timing) from the fumes after blowing out all the candles on my 140 th Birthday cake." Damn, I miss Johnny.

Well after every depressing visit to the nursing home, I continue to work on my business plan. This plan will make me some $ for a while, and will also help with my exit from this world before I become too dependent on others.

I'm making deer suits. Hunting is big around here and in other areas, obviously. Said deer suit will be sold to someone who is "ready to go" on their own terms. Put it on, head into the woods during hunting season, and it's over. The suits will come complete with a note in a pocket absolving the hunter of all liability/guilt.

Now these suits won't exactly be able to be dry cleaned after use, so I expect to sell quite a few prior to needing one myself.

I've made mention of this plan to family members and I think I have a few takers already.

This is my plan unless Jerry wants to sell me some of his little green pills?

My plan will not make me a burden to anyone. I'd like to see my youngest grandchild graduate from high school. If I can't make my plan work out to my satisfaction, I'd want to move on.

I just want to live until I die, but I don't want to die before I die.

I don't think I want to out live my wife because too much of me would die if she died first.

I don't really have an expection. I tell Mrs. GM3 that she should let me have my mid life crisis now, because for all I know, I have already passed my 'mid life' point.
