^^^According to my weather station on the deck, it is 100.1 outside, with a heat index of 128!

Our AC cannot keep up, even though I have both units set at 80.

You don't normally need an A/C to keep up with that heat do you?

Not sure what you mean. The AC normally holds the temp that it is set at. Today, the upstairs is at 82, even though the thermostat is set at 80. Both units are running continuously.

120 miles southeast of raymo19 and it is only 87°F here today(that's about 30.5°C for you Canucks). Of course, it has been mid 90s all week. Yesterday was 95°F (35°C) when we got the wifely unit's new roof put on.
