Wow, let's see.

Local KYW radio and KYW TV

National, NPR, NBC affiliate, MSNBC

Overall Yahoo news (AP, Reuters, BBC and Chritian Science Monitor)

Most of my news comes off of the internet.

TV news at midday is MSNBC or CNN (whichever is not in mid-commercial when I turn on the set). Early morning is internet: USAToday, my local newspaper which I read on the web, and CNN.com. I usually listen to National Public Radio throughout the day/evening.

1. I usually just look for ralper's newest posts to find out who died, unusual events from the day before, etc.

2. I also get the NYT online, but rarely find something missed by process #1

3. For traffic and late-breaking headline news, I check KYW news radio (all news all the time)
Jerry,

I'll take your #1 and #2 as a compliment. Thank you.

But you're already the official VSA. You've earned and won that title with no competition. What higher office could you possibly be running for?

I subscribe to the Los Angeles Times (but will, along with thousands of others, cancel my subscription tomorrow morning should the Times fail to rehire Robert Sheer by midnight tonight), The Nation (America's oldest weekly publication), the Progressive, Mother Jones, In These Times, Monthly Review, the People, and - just to keep track of the fascists - I watch Fox "News" nightly.
Oh, and of course I am longtime KPFK (90.7 FM, Los Angeles) listener/sponsor/volunteer.

I follow most of the normal media formats such as NPR on radio and PBS on TV along with CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC. However, I have now become a fan of Blogs. I use Mozzilla Firefox to bookmark the Blogs that I like to follow and open them under tabs. I find that the Bloggers are ahead of the main stream media (MSM), whether it be liberal or conservative in view, and prompt greater discussion on issues relevant to real world happenings.
