Mystery car!!!

Lexus NX Turbo. They are all turbo, but that is part of the name. I actually like driving it. Much better experience than the RX 350.

Bill, are your wires on the AH painted or chrome? Hard to tell from the photo. I was hearing a clunk in the LR and today determined it was a worn wire-wheel spline. I did some math and determined I've logged 92,000 miles on it. That leaves two others from that original purchase. I'm old school and actually prefer painted over chrome.

Probably everyone's seen pictures of my A at one time or another but if not...

top up -

Top down -

Interior -

I've since swapped out the trunk (boot if you prefer) for one without a luggage rack, as Donna has learned how to pack without taking lots of extra's.

Engine -

PS - Since this picture, I've changed the distributor to a full Pertronix electronic unit (no points and no coil) and blue spark plug wires. Too many of the replacement parts for the ignition system being sold were Chinese junk, plus it provided a new vacuum advance weight system that updated worn out springs, etc.

Chrome and stainless, Dave. I always preferred chrome on the bigger sport/GT cars, painted on the smaller cars. The stainless spokes are an improvement over chrome spokes and still look great.

Now THAT'S what I'm talkin about. When I started this thread I never expected so many great pics of so many cool and interesting cars even though its what I asked for. But I was hoping to lure a pic or two of their classic Brits from Bill and Dave. Bill, beautiful and oh so classic. It looks like you just finished the restore last week. Special thanks for the engine bay shot. And that dash...so perfect with the BRG exterior. Dave, you know how much I admire the styling of the MGA. Yours is gorgeous and wearing the perfect color for an A. Its hard for me to reconcile the driving stories and pics you have provided in the past with just how good your MG looks in these beauty shots. And on this car, the painted spokes are perfect. Thanks, guys.

Nice rides, everyone. Dave, your car IS a beauty!

BTW, Mike. our car is Suzuka...I think you called it one of those "silver" colors in your comments to my pic....Suzuka/Vintage Blue is the best color, except when you look at it in different lights and the hood doesn't match the bumpers.....oh wait, that's another thread!

Oops. The only thing worse than calling a Suzuka S2000 silver is calling a Sebring Silver one "gray". Sorry, Raul.
