Funny, I thought the same thing about Bush when he ran the second time.

Cordy!
They let me go skiing in January! (..but it was just a temporary visa.)

Only 6 more days to the end of tax season and then I can get back into the swing of things. You guys on the right have been getting away with murder. Take your best shots, you've only got six days left (or three years til Hillary becomes president).

Yes, I'm still here at work, but I'm going home early tonight because it's Saturday. Tonight I'm leaving at 10.

That would be kind of a drastic way to welcome a great president, don't you think?
Probably why he didn't do it for Bush.

[QUOTE=Honda 367,Apr 8 2005, 04:25 PM] ... I do seriously think Hilary Clinton has a very good shot in our next election.

Seriously,

I hope that the Dems have someone substantial in the race in 2008. However, I seriously doubt that any Democrat from the East, serious or not, can draw enough votes to gain the presidency.

However, a Mitt Romney could rally quite a few Republicans. What have I been missing here on the West coast?

Presidential election in my opinion is all about the electoral votes. Whoever wins however many states it takes, that's the bottom line. Having bagged CA, OR, WA, NY even before the primary, Senator Clinton only needs a few Midwestern states or Texas. This means she only needs to spend her time and money on those few states to win the election. I think she has an excellent chance of doing that. Republicans will have to work very hard in the next couple of years in coming up with a viable candidate or the next election is Democrat's to lose.

I put three people that lived in the white house in the same class as gigantic liars. Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. With Tricky Dick, it was politics, with Bill and Hillary it was for politics and personal or financial gain. She shouldn't be dog catcher, let alone senator or pres.
