How do I get invited to one of these interrogation parties?
Seriously, I had worse treatment at my fraternity initiation.
One thing I would like to see is a clamp-down on airing the tactics we use to break down the prisoners. It's not good for the effectiveness of future interrogations, and it isn't good for anyone kidnapped by terrorists. Unless the terrorists look good in a wet t-shirt.

How about this?
The UN is a failed institution, rife with corruption, mismanagement and waste on a truly spectacular level. Member nations on the board for human rights are themselves HUGE human rights abusers. It's a sham of the highest order. The vote of a single dictatorial regime or communist outpost can thwart an otherwise positive action.
Instead of junking the entire institution, why not kick any nation out whose leaders are not democratically elected?

I can't believe the opinions that I am reading about the interrogators using sex as part of their method of interrogating the prisoners. Especially to the extent of using red liquids to replicate menstrual fluids before the prisoners are to pray and some of the other tactics that you've read about in the article.
If you truly believe that this is acceptable behavior, the terrorists have won. They have lowered us to their level.

I believe when confronting someone who believes in being a suicide bomber and is going to Paradise for doing it or someone who kills indiscriminately men women kids not just soldier combatants you destroy them. The have already relinquished their rights to humane treatment. But because we're Americans we imprison them and torture them with titty shows and play blood? If we were like them there would be no prisoners, just a pile of heads.
This isn't the first time we've faced this kind of zealotry and it won't be the last.
I find it almost offensive that people equate what was in that article with killing kids, non combatants and chopping off heads in the name of Allah and try to draw comparisons lowering us to their level.

Two wrongs never did, and still don't make a right.
What separates us from the terrorists is our respect for civil rights and human rights. Maybe we're really not so different after all.
