I live in Rochester NY we have the extremely rare White Hot Dog.
I'm late to the party, but also living in Rochester, I have to second Doug's white hot selection. Nothing beats a grilled white hot on a New England style roll with chopped onions and mustard.

Now, I' a little surprised Doug didn't mention the other Rochester tradition, a Nick's White Hot Garbage Plate:

Anyone who loves hot dogs and lives within striking distance of Boston should try out Eddie Andelman's Hot Dog Safari. You sample a lot of different hot dogs, some great, in a fun atmosphere, and a good cause benefits.

Hey, Dave, glad to see a new face post in Vintage. Welcome. I looked at your profile and you and my son both have August 8th birthdays. His is 8-8-88 though.

I love hotdogs... When ever I'm cooking for myself, I have a fresh pack in the fridge. I'm also a big fan of the Foster Farms Corn Dogs. 2 min in the microwave and their good to go.

I was raised eating those red dyed ones.... and I've also started to like the Filipino Reds also.

I stay away from Oscar Mayer because they are too salty. I HATE salty dogs!

I've never ate a Nathan's world famous.... any way to get one on the West Coast?

Tim
