The secret to a good Chicago dog is the right type of relish and just the right amount of celery salt.
You are the first one to mention celery salt on a hot dog. I use that all the time. Anyone else? I also use relish and NO mustard.

Celery salt use to be a hot dog staple with me, but I am off the salt now.
When I was a kid, my favorite was a red dog, with mustard and celery salt. I thought this was a New England French thing.

Tomatoes? I guess a good alternative to catsup. But I do love the pepper.
You guys are all making me hungry.

Hot dogs are OK but give me a good hamburger any day with all the trimmings.

I like brussel sprouts. I put parmesean cheese on them. Good for you. I know most people hate them. My son can't stand the smell of them. "Talking" to you, I suddenly got a craving for Vixen. Maybe if I mix some Shiraz with chanmpage?

(Note I was not grossed out by the photo - it was the brussel sprouts that disgisted me. )

(Not sure if you got the joke!)

The Shiraz & Champagne trick might just do it. Let me know how it goes.
