The appearance doesn't bother me - it's the fact that it's not the wagon so many were hoping it would be. Looks like the mules spotted here and there were using the body panels of the Accord Touring model in Europe, which is a true wagon. Sigh.

It's monkey see monkey do ;Accord Crosstour=Toyota Versa

An Accord Euro-wagon would have been a better choice

Virginija just called to tell me that she saw a truck full of Crosstours, seemingly on its way to Honda of Mentor. I'm going to stop by my dealer's back lot on the way home tonight to see if they got theirs.

We're scheduling an oil change on the Accord Thursday or Friday, so we'll do a test drive then.

My dealer did tell me pricing: the base model will start at $30.5K MSRP including destination charges. $38K+ MSRP for the top model. Ouch.

I imagine they'll have one at the LA Auto Show when Jerry and I go on Dec. 3rd. We'll be checking it out.

Seems like a lot of money for an Accord hatchback, reminds me of the old days.

I prefer the wagon I checked out up close in Germany a year ago. It cost 55K euro, and was not available with a V6.

If you're talking abou thte Euro Accord Wagon, then it's coming to the US next year as an Acura TSX wagon.

Either way, I'mm looking at a used one in a couple of years, most likely.
