I try to never think about it, therefore I never find myself debating if I should go there or not or should I take a different vehicle just because of it's achievable MPG
I agree. Although it is hard to ignore it with all the media hype. It's like the market, I dont pay attention to the daily spikes as I am in it for the long term and well diversified. Why ruin your day over matters out of your control.

About $3.90 for unleaded regular here. Like Triple H...I can't wait for spring either!

Doesn't get great mileage, but almost double the S2000 on unleaded regular.

Ever since I started to drive, I've kept a record book for every car I've owned, and enter the price per gallon, total cost and number of gallons bought, when I get gas. It's a habit. I find it interesting information.

I look at the price, whine a bit and go about my business. It truly is out of our control I may use Rick's Subaru for running errands when the gas prices are up, or try to combine errands/trips, but that's about my only concession.

I've never kept any kind of log book on any vehicle. I keep the maintenance records, but dumping them all in a file. That's it.

The last time I filled my Accord, it cost me $52.90. The guy on the other side of the pump had a diesel PU truck and he put $100.00 in it. He said that didn't fill it, but that's all he was putting in.
