Jeebus - I thought we were talking about cars.
I was referring to the car, not that handsome fellow in the pic.

My question is why does Honda insist on excessively large front grille openings? Even on the S2000, it's too damn large.

Btw, not a Honda fan here.

Other than the above, I like the aggressive styling.

I am not sure that I would call this a sports car, it think tht it's really a "sporty" car, much like the CRX and Preludes of the past.

This car has been showing up in recent Honda comercials. The styling looks a little "young" for some of us. (Young as in the Scion Xa, whew ugly, but my friends daughter had to have one because of it's styling. She wound up with a Corrola.)

That open 'mouth' at the front is way too big. But the rest of the car looks fine.

I have not been this excited about a Honda concept since the SSM came out in 1995, which eventually became our S2000. As many of you know, I worship the CRX, and have been in shock for 16 some years that Honda has never had the smarts to bring it back to life. Over and over there have been rumors, but they never came true, and I honestly don't ever recall seeing what I will call a CRX Concept that looked so well refined and potentially production ready.

So, like or not?

I'm working on a new sig layout

Hi, bachelor-by-choice, check out the "New Honda Sports Car" thread that Go Blue started. Looks like he beat you to it but it was nice to see the different angles. I like the back better than the front.

Doug, with yours, there were three threads on this new CRX replacement. I have merged them into one thread.

Cool thanks, I did not notice the others

In general, I don't read threads that start off with a link, I figure if Dave had something important to say he would have at least added a pic or something...

^^
Your pics give a more complete view of the car's exterior. I think the design carries on the new family image that other recent Honda/Acura concepts have shown.

Ok, I got my answer, you old farts just can't warm up to something new and fresh, some old dogs can't learn new tricks...

This is one hot looking car, the snout is one of the best executions that deal with the extremely stringent European Pedestrian Safety Standards. I'll take my love for CR-Z elsewhere...
