The car, the concept, or both? I thought Buddy Hackett was hilarious in the original.
I voted good.
And - Michelle Lee was Hawt.

I didn't bother to watch the remake (even though I worked on it) but the original was one of my favorites! (Just watched it again this past Saturday) It's fun watching ol' Herb running the most of the very same tracks I now race on.
When I first saw Herbie (at the tender age of nine) I became instantly hooked on auto racing... I still am!

I don't want to see the new movie.
Drew, you look very young in that photo.

That photo was taken just a year and a half ago when we were making the new movie. Herbie and I got to spend some quality time together when he wasn't needed for takes. It's not true what they say... some of the big stars are actually quite humble.
EVIL???
NEVER!!!!

OK Drew I believe you. You are vouching for Herbie personally and your the only person I've had contact with that evet met him. So I guess Herbies a good actor. He fooled me
But you need to watch Herbie Fully Loaded.
If you are right, then Disney took advantage of Herbie.
Look at the plot
He leads that poor girl astray and right when she's graduating from college.
He empowers her with abilities she doesn't possess.
He drags her into life threatening situations.
He haunts a NASCAR driver.
He encourages unmarried sex and then includes himself in it.
He even gets a hard hood.
Is this the Herbie you knew and loved? Or has he been hanging in the same garage with Christine?
