Yep, baseball caps, with the clips if we are on the highway. You don't have to wear the hat as tight so you can avoid a ball cap headache.

The clips can be found here, Hat clip and I've seen them at marine stores, too.

Under Armour cool gear baseball cap with SPF 40 material. Keeps me cool, lightweight, sun protected material and does not blow off in my Jeep with top down.

My GF is still struggling with this issue. I keep a ball cap in the trunk for her. We have also tried the scarf and sunglasses (I call it the Jackie-O look!).

She has to find some kind of solution. Top up is certainly out of the question!

Unless her hair is long enough for a pony tail, she has to embrace messy hair and baseball caps. Tell her guys dig it and it's sexy.

I've used what used to be called pork pies for ages. Kangol makes about 50 different ones.

My open top visor does a nice job of keeping the sun off my face and most of my hair out of my face without squishing my hair at all. But it does allow it whip around a bit in the wind so it needs to be brushed when I get wherever I'm going. As my hair has gotten longer recently, I am now having to keep it in a loose ponytail too. I wear the front of the visor fairly high on my forehead right at my hair line so it doesn't leave marks on my forehead and wear the back of it low at the nape of my neck under my hair or ponytail. I literally slip the visor over my head and pull it down to my neck like I'm putting on a necklace but then slide it back up *under* my hair. Does nothing for protecting the scalp from sunburn though.

Make regular appointments with a dermatologist.

I don't like to wear anything on my head when I'm driving. I like the wind in the hair feeling.

In the winter, top down, I wrap a scarf around my neck, but still no hat.

I can only take so much sun as I've begun the balding process. This is a hat by Columbia I really like - super light weight and breathable - and I've been wearing it for several years. It was designed for fishermen but went out of production a few years back. Other sports car buddies who have tried it agree with me.
