Gee, I don't know but it seems to me that the price of a hard top, set of wheels, and a full set of winter tires would go a long way toward the purchase of a winter beater and save the S from all that Ohio salt.

True enough, SDI, but I have no place to park another vehicle, and as you know, there are many winter days where the S is just fine for around here.

Plus it is too darned fun to drive :-)

Heck for the price of the hardtop, and winter tires and wheels, I could have kept my 2001 Accord v6, it only had 145k miles on it ;-) All highway, too. But again, no place to park it.

Just got a call from Honda East - my hardtop is in, and I've got to call service to make an appointment to get it installed. Pics to follow once it's all on and AIOd.

And Mark, if you want you can come help me take it off the car once I get my stand finished :-)

Ooh, I can hardly wait. A Laguna Blue hardtop? That's gonna be nice.

Well, it gets installed next Wed the 19th - happens to be their first appointment of that length of time available, and coincidentally a day off of work I already had scheduled. I'm pretty anxious to see how it's gonna look myself, but we're all just gonna have to wait a bit. :-)

Hopefully, I'll get it back early enough in the day to AIO it and get some pics!

Dave I'd be happy to help you lift her off some night or on the weekend. Just shoot me a PM. Hell, I wish I'd know you were selling a 2K1 Accord with 145K, I might have been interested in that. There is also another thread around here somewhere that details how to build a stand out of PVC pipe.
