Happy Veterans Day to all who served. We are having a special tribute at our club on Monday to honor all veterans. Free drinks to all veterans. Looking forward to that My wife is my DD.

Back in 1978. Had not even soloed yet!

Medic in South Korea. I was safe from the Viet Cong, but cold as hell after two winters there. My service funded my education, so no complaints.

Cos, You look like a bad ass!!!

This is as close as I came, that's me in the middle, as we were digging out the remains of a B-58 pilot out of the hole in the ground.

But this is what we should be recalling today... this was Normandy beach ..... and for younger people it would be the Wall, which is on my bucket list.

Since Dave was stationed in France, I'm sure The Wall would be the one on his list.
I've been to both, and both are moving, but The Wall affects me personally. Too many names on there that I knew personally.
