Default Happy Mothers Day

I thought it might be nice if we posted some pictures of our mothers.

This was my mom in her early 20s.

And this one was a year before she passed away at age 88. No one believed her but her hair was just starting to gray.

Mom and Dad. Hawaii right after the war. The last one is from a Dallas newspaper clipping on Mom's solo flight in the late 30s.
She died of pancreatic cancer in 1974.

This is the picture of my mother that my father carried with him all through his years in the Army-Air Corps during World War II

They were married while he was stationed in Florida. He in uniform and she in a rented gown.

This is Liz's mother and father right after their wedding (in 1948) in Hong Kong before leaving for the United States.
