Wishing the same for everyone. I'll be trying to keep my dog calm as a few of my neighbors like to have backyard fireworks events. I do not enjoy fireworks anymore since they bring so much angst to my dog.

Our dog goes into shock when the fireworks go off.

No dog to worry about. Will be watching the fireworks on the Mall from our balcony with A Capitol Fourth on the TV. Hot and humid day here with chance of t-storms. Feel sorry for the thousands who will be outside watching and possibly getting drenched. It is a zoo here with road closures, people trying to park anywhere they can to walk to the Iwo Jima grounds. Subway is open but extremely crowded. It is the craziest day here other than the Marine Corps Marathon.

Titan is oblivious to fireworks unless they are rally close. He may bark a little then.
At his age there isn't much that rattles him.
I'm not sure his hearing is that great anymore or he just doesn't care.

Dog owners may want to read this Smithsonian article about why some dogs react as they do to fireworks. https://www.smithsonianmag.com/scien...NLWO3mSDbg-5SQ

Happy 4th. No dogs, no problem. We are going to the deck of our club to watch the fireworks shot off from a barge out on our bay.
