It is almost midnight here in Pittsburgh and I stayed up long enough to be the first to wish my friend Patty a Happy Birthday. This is a special birthday not only because of her birth but will soon to be the start of a new life. Aw, thanks for jumping the gun, Jumpy Guy! I'm already happy and according to my clock it's not my 49th birthday for another hour and 19 minutes. The last of the forties! Yikes. I should be set at fifty, though and in a good place.
