Happy 4th of July
#31
Hey Guys, don't forget the 14th of July...another B-Day,for the French people...
And,don't forget,those French people;they helped the Americans,a BIG lot,in 1776,when they(you...or,most likely,your ancestors...) wanted to separate,from the English people...
Remember,what's it's all about;this has nothing to do,with Korea,or Vietnam...
We,in Quebec,only run "Referendums"... of course,it's 200 years later...maybe too late...
P.S.:and,I do not consider myself,as a Frenchman,by any means;I'm a French speaking,North-American...

The +1 mounted his camera on the tripod and got some really nice shots of the fireworks. I'll try to post the best ones tomorrow.

It has everything to do with Korea and VietNam. It is a day for honoring Americans who served or gave their lives for this country in all wars. AND dont forget the Americans who lost their lives on the beaches of Normandy to secure freedom for the French.

Hope everyone had a safe and fantastic day. It was a nice morning with a cloudy windy afternoon. But hey, the Sox won, and I slept, so it was a good day.

Trying to win the Darwin Award, we had an even stupider stunt pulled by a Michigan mother of two. She looked down the barrel of an illegal professional fireworks that didn't go off ................. you know the rest of the story.............after a delay it did and took off her head.

These are uniquely American Holidays. But, unlike Memorial Day or Labor Day the 4th and Thanksgiving are celebrations and time for friends and family.
