This and Thanksgiving are two of my favorite holidays. Why? Well they really are part of my countries tradition, and for the most part they have not been whored over and remain holidays free of gifts.

Some idiot locally put 100 snappers (they are designed to be safe when you throw one of them at the cement) together in tin foil to make a big bang. They rubbed each other and he got his wish. Blew off his left hand and they may have to amputate his right.

I think I'll just watch the stuff from downtown Chattanooga and the mountain top. No need for me to contribute a hand or digit.

I'll probably end up with some stuff in my gutters though.
