Voted "Yes" since there was no option for "Already have". Though my status puts me at lower risk (Those of us around in the 70's may have some residual immunity, I think that immunity came from being exposed to and ) my diabetes puts me at increased risk. The department offered it free a couple weeks ago and I took advantage of it.

With the seasonal flu shot my arm was pretty darn sore for a couple of days. Today the arm doesn't feel too bad. Maybe I had a nurse with better aim.

Got mine some time ago. Working at a hospital that has seen several cases come through, I figured better safe than sorry. I'm on the borderline of being old enough to have some immunity but AJ is a prime potential host for this nasty bug.

Didn't mean to lecture.....but you should get the damn shot.

Make sure you call me if you get the flu. I like saying "I told you so."
Well, since you're nagging me and I like you, I did consider it a little bit more and think about why I don't want it. But alas, my stubbornness won out and I'm still not getting it.

Being forward deployed in Iraq. I didnt have the option of not getting the shot. If you decided to not get it, you would be punished under the UCMJ. A week after I got the shot, CNN had their report on all the recalled shots for week doses and ill structured vaccines.

^ If you didn't have to get the shot, would you want to on your own?

Because?

No nagging, I promise.

Just truly interested in why some folks are so set against these shots.
