The Atlanta Aquarium, It's a really nice one, they now have a program there where you can swim in the tank with the whale sharks, the MrsCaptain has been itching to go back.

That was a Bermuda Pilot and 2 trainee pilots riding the ship with me, due to our tonnage and the fact we are US flagged, we are required to have a Bermuda Pilot on the ship when entering/departing port. Since we are a non-profit, they do not charge us for pilot service. The government is working on a waiver, but this being Bermuda there is no telling when that may happen. I generally let the trainee pilots (who will one day be directing the mega cruise ships) do some docking and undocking for practice since they are doing us a favor by not charging. They are all really nice guys and I have actually had dinner with most of them and their families.

Thanks for the explanation. But, I'll bet you know the local waters as well or better than the Pilots!

True, there are a couple of the senior pilots who will come aboard and directly lie down for a nap, saying: "You know the way Cap'n, just wake me up when we get there." I generally do about 30 transits a year in and out of here.

Just a couple more Bermuda pics to add:

Could be a TV commercial: (at Tobacco Bay)

Bea & I under the same moongate in a park in Hamilton that we passed under right after we were married:

We visited the Bermuda aquarium and zoo: (First rate!)

From the bridge adjacent to the aquarium, an eagle ray (I think):

Where we were supposed to meet Cap'n Mike for drinks:

Our cruise ship at night:

And some flower pics for Patty (Patricia) (Kyras):
