GTO vs GTO

^Yeah, it's just you. R&T has the best writers in the industry. From "yr hmbl srvt" Henry Manney III back in the 60s (using text abbreviations before there was even texting) to Peter Egan, R&T offers actual prose. Dennis Siminitis and others with engineering degrees explain complex mechanisms and technology in easy to understand, enjoyable artlices with excellent illustration. And let's face it, R&T developed the instrumented road test and still develops it today. As for goofy road tests, R&T does one every year in the April edition.

Car and Driver editorial alums include Bruce McCall, Jean Shepherd, and P.J. O'Rourke. Its probably the only magazine with a contributing editor who twice ran (and twice crashed) at Indie.
