He can't really be wrong. If he sees his shadow then winter continues for about another 6 weeks. If he doesn't see his shadow, then Spring will soon be upon us -- in about 6 weeks or so.

I'm going to kick that critter to the curb if he predicts six more weeks of winter.

Today's weather was snow, with freezing rain on top. It's like crunchy frosting on cake. Not good.

I'm packing my bags and moving in with Patty.

Actually, Lainey. That order of things beats the opposite (ice then snow).
