Cool thread! I broke my tibia and fibia in a motorcycle accident and have a 12 inch titanium rod in my leg with 36 screws. Looks like we have a club here!

Fortunately for me, After years of motorcycles (both on road and off) and road racing them, sky diving, flying General Aviation (including Ultra Lites, and many aerobatic rides in open cockpit bi-planes, and a few sail planes, track days in my S. The only Titanium that I own are my Koss Pro 4AA Titanium stereo headphones that were recently replace by Koss under their lifetime warranty (see my other post about company's that stand behind their products) .

Bionic here. Titanium and stainless steel In spine, face, shoulder, knee, tibia, fibia, and arm.

It's always a pain to get on a flight, but I'm worth some money.

Titanium rod & screws in my left tibia from a fairly nasty break while playing soccer in 2007.

oh come on!! who can get hurt playing that girls sport right???? ( for the record that why I have the screws, dating back to playing in high school)

one of my high school buddies 5'1" tried to step in front of a 6'3" full back's clear of the ball.
his leg looked a lot like yours.

I tried playing again a couple years later, but now I'm a bit gun shy of it happening to the other leg. I'll let the kids (girls) keep playing and I'll watch
