Yes. I was at breakfast with four others at Crystal Cove, in Newport Beach, CA last Saturday, after Cars and Coffee in Irvine. We had an NFR, a Long Beach blue pearl, a Sebring silver and a Silverstone NSX, and one black GTR. When we came out after eating, the guys were going crazy with their California dusters, getting the olive tree pollen bombs off their cars. As fast as they removed one, another one fell. Silly boys.

Silly Boys is right. Polish their cars with Zaino and the pollen will blow off at less than 30 MPH.

And now our oaks are unleashing those little flowers that fall apart into about a million little seed things when they hit the car.

Here in AZ we have had a wet winter, followed by cyclical patterns of somewhat high temps (mid-80's) followed by cooling (low 70's). The pollen this year has been horrible.
It rained a few weeks ago, and the puddles were solid yellow on top, all of the gutters were stained the same color. The cactus is getting ready to bloom, so we'll have another round of pollen soon. Fortunately, I am not too bothered by the pollen usually, but this spring, I have even had to take Claritin.
The worst was - I took my new car in to be washed, and then I parked it to go shopping for a few minutes. There was pollen all over it again when I came out of the store.

Tons...our crazy weather has caused the pollen to arrive sooner and in much higher quantities it seems. We are setting records here in Our Nation's Capital!

a Funny thing about the pollen sometimes.
If the heat goes up fast enough in season the Pines can almost explode with pollen.
and an errant but forceful tee shot can have really amusing results.

Anyone have photos of the yellow covering your cars? I keep hearing about this pollen back east, on the news. I guess what we have is nothing compared to you guys.
