Got Pollen?
Anyone else have pollen?
The world has turned yellow. Wednesday's count was 5,733 particles of pollen per cubic meter of air. Maybe we can try for a new record. The record was April 12th, 1999, when the pollen count reached 6,013.

My olive trees were getting close to releasing their pollen storms when I was home last weekend. My deck and lawn will be covered with a layer of greenish yellow powder when they let go.

High tree pollen, but our world has not turned yellow yet.....that's a bit down the line, but maybe not with the weird weather pattern we have had.

Even our driveway and sidewalks are tinted a greenish yellow, however, the worst is yet to come. Our oak tree has just started sprouting its little parachute-type things and fall and pop big yellow splats everywhere. I'm glad the S is still in the garage. I haven't been able to drive it since mid-December.

I had two black cars now two yellow. I live among hundreds of huge pine trees. Walked by with the leaf blower yesterday what a cloud off the Accord. Left it outside last night for the rain. Wash & Wax for the S this weekend.

Yes. I was at breakfast with four others at Crystal Cove, in Newport Beach, CA last Saturday, after Cars and Coffee in Irvine. We had an NFR, a Long Beach blue pearl, a Sebring silver and a Silverstone NSX, and one black GTR. When we came out after eating, the guys were going crazy with their California dusters, getting the olive tree pollen bombs off their cars. As fast as they removed one, another one fell. Silly boys.

Yup...same down here on the coast.
And now our oaks are unleashing those little flowers that fall apart into about a million little seed things when they hit the car.
