I had a terrible evening. I couldn’t stand up from the PC chair and ended up spending the night in the living room floor. I finally have made it to the bedroom on the second floor today. i’ve taken two opioid type meds but so far they have not had any affect to lower the pain. Thank you all for the well wishes better days ahead.

You’re right it doesn’t fit in here anymore so let’s get back to regular programming with really good stories.

As long as you promise to check in somewhere with a progress report.

My good news, like mentioned previously, is that I've sold a few more photos at the gift shop in it's new location. Hard to know what will appeal to people, but in our area, lighthouses, fishing boats have been my big seller. I"m adding this one to the mix next week. A nice pop of red color - a tug boat on the Cape Cod Canal. We'll see if it sells or not...hang on for pic...

That looks cool, and you are right about the red colour "popping". I've taken a couple pictures over the years that I thought looked good, never considered if they could be sold, that is a cool arrangement you have being able to sell them. I'll post up a pic I took of the Statue of Liberty a few years back, maybe you can get me a couple bucks for it , lol

Thanks for the kind words. I generally run slightly in the RED with this venture, but it's a hobby. Forget getting paid for my time. Still, the fact that someone dishes out $ for one of my photos pleases me.

I could cut out the middle man and stand around craft fairs hoping someone would buy my photos but that is so not me.

Hey Lainey, what do you think about this one ? This is a cel phone picture of my framed picture, so it doesn't look so sharp here. I thought it was pretty good for an amateur shot in NYC.

It is one of my favourite shots with the Statue of Liberty as the focal point, along with the Ferry, and the American flag in the far background plus the coloured smoke stacks. In the actual picture the shiny gold flame on the torch really pops against the greenish/blue copper colour of the statue. I don't know anything about photography, but I got a lucky shot that day and I framed the picture.

Yes, I've had two new ones in the last few years. I also use a "c" shaped spine pillow that helps. Anytime I sit or lie down for more than an hour or so, my back stiffens. It is due in part to degenerative disc disease and arthritis. Its just something I deal with and I've had pain management for it in the past as well but after only a few weeks after the injections, the stiffness and pain returns. I'm doing ok and do what I want to do, so its just life.
