Stay off the ladder, Dave. I have a friend who is in her late 40s who mis-stepped on a stepladder and completely shattered her ankle and broke her knee. After her mishap I stopped using stepladders.

Hope you are O.K. Dave and didn’t do any more damage to yourself. I’m not a big fan of ladders and chainsaws.

I have more doctors tell me to avoid ladders, chain saws, and skiing/snowboarding.

Every once in awhile during the winter I think that I should take up snowboarding as I live 5 minutes away from a ski/snowboard mountain and even have a shuttle that runs from my neighborhood to the mountain on weekends but with all the hardware I already have in my leg I figure I better quit while I am ahead as the saying goes.

My frozen foot was on the first step and I went to bounce up to second step with my good one. The step ladder has a front hand railing so all should be good. Just when I did that the backside of my tennis shoe caught on the base of a rolling cabinet beside it. Not pretty. Boy, am I sore. Twisted both my good ankle and lower back. Thankfully my artificial hip seems ok, so I feel lucky. Might have to wait a few days to finish that project.
How are you doing? I was suggesting a beer to ease your pain, if you can find it. But I posted it on the wrong thread.
Rick loved this at lunch today.

I saw that and commented. On a scale of 10, mostly 7 unless I move and then it is 10. Not good.

That doesn't sound good...how about visiting a massage therapist?

I have full vibrating mattress with at least 25 setting plus heat if wanted. I used it a couple times. No quick fix.
