Joey, clearly you have a good handle on your market, as best one can, and what's going on. Thankfully we have been in ours 40 years and never ever thought of selling.

Thanks Dave !. Yeah the last two years taught me a lot about the crazy market we experienced in our region, while we were considering moving something just didn't feel right or "normal" so we didn't pull the trigger. Good thing we didn't at that time or we would be underwater now. Everyone wants to buy low and sell high, so this is the low period now , prices seemed to have come down 15-20 percent in the last 12 months.

We are currently in our second family home, when we moved here I said that I never want to move again until I leave this world. But things change and I have a longing for somewhere that is less busy and a region that is smaller in scale. I think it stands to reason that our next home will appreciate in value if we bought at a proper value, so that is comforting to know. Our current home has risen in value by about 300% compared to what we paid for it 15 years ago, it is one good investment we made at least, I wish my mutual funds would have done that lol.

Well, the stock market has not been kind to anyone lately. It is only paper until you need it.

I think I am now at the point where it doesn't matter if the market crashes and my home is worth 50 cents. I think I will be carried out of here feet first, so what will I care???

At least you won't be the richest person in the cemetery, I suspect you have enjoyed life to the fullest and that is worth more than any asset eh ?

Vito’s mom continues to do well. His sister is buying her car and will use it to take her to appts. She took a shower and washed her hair for the first time, so really liked that. She loves her new recliner. And Vito got her an iPad and loaded FT and some games on it. She FTed her great grandkids and grandkids. PT person came and gave her a good report. Still waiting on OT. He probably will come home Fri or Sat.

NJ DMV very efficient. Vito’s sister surrendered the license plates, got receipt, and got a new title, registration, and plates, all in 19 minutes!!

When I was in the hospital with diverticulitis I didn't get a shower for 4 or 5 days.
Oh it is wonderful when you finally get clean again

We had a showing on our home last night by a prospective purchaser as our home is up for sale. They put in an offer to purchase today and we accepted it. There are a few conditions , if they all get waived the sale should go down and the purchase of our new home will proceed.

When we met with our spiritual medium in October 2022 she told us that we would be moving in March 2023. Our closing date is March 31st, 2023, and the purchasers of our home picked the date. You can't make this stuff up.
