But when someone gives you so much information that is 100% accurate, and information that no one in this world could possibly know, it becomes too convincing. I will follow up as Kyras always seems interested in my experiences too. I think this may be one of our last visits, we had great experiences thus far and heard from all of the relatives we care about. I am curious to see if my sister shows up. The money is not crazy expensive so why not. I don't know how easy it is to find a medium who is legit or 100% accurate as I've only been to one in my life. It just turns out that she has been has been legit. If I had been to a few mediums who were not legit I would have likely stopped and never tried again, so I can see how people can be skeptics. I can't recommend mediums in general as the good ones may be hard to find. I could recommend the one we visited as we've had good experiences to go by. You almost need to find them through friends or relatives who recommend them based on positive experiences. That's how we found our one medium, she was recommended to me by a friend, he was blown away by her and he had other friends who were blown away by her as well, so it was worth a gamble.
I loved reading about your experiences and reasons for going to a new medium. I would love to go to one but haven't ever had a personal reading although I saw Theresa Caputo and another man/medium in group settings. I AM extremely interested in your experiences.

Getting validations about your loved ones being around you fits right in with our religion, and it makes perfect sense to me.
For Catholics, your loved ones, the faithfully departed as we say, are indeed around us as a "cloud of witnesses". However, trying to contact them is another thing. That is a pretty big no no in the Church.

Be aware that "Good and Evil" are more than just general terms. There are some very strong prohibitions for using mediums and the occult. Those spirits, however "accurate" (and they can be because of supernatural knowledge and intelligence) coming from mediums, are not from God and can only be demonic. I am not trying to "convert" anyone to anything here, just warning about major potholes in the road up ahead. Ask me how I know.

Hi Jim, thanks for all of the very interesting information you provide. I never thought about the dark side to be honest, everything I've experienced just seems very positive and uplifting, but your info is very eye-opening. This week's visit will likely be my last, it is too late for me to cancel either way and I don't think God will pay my bill if I cancel , lol

If prayers really worked, I don't think so many things would be in such a mess. Just my opinion, and likely a topic that could go downhill (or over to politics) quickly.
I don't want this to go to politics either so I will only say your comment on prayers working reminded me of an incident when my son and daughter were small. The older brother sent a stegosaurus hard plastic lamp sailing through the air and its big spikes made quite a dent and wound in my younger daughter's scalp. At the hospital, as the doc is injecting local pain killers to stitch up the wound, my daughters is crying out to me as I hold her hand. "Daddy, he is hurting me, make him stop!!". Of course we all understand that it is necessary for the doc to repair the damage (I made my son watch too) and the pain my daughter is feeling is necessary for her health. However, all she knows is Dad is allowing this man to inflict pain on her and she does not understand. Prayer is like that. We, as children, do not understand that suffering is required, of varying degrees, for us to achieve maturity in this life to prepare us for the next.

I believe that we are comforted when we (as humans) believe there is a power greater than ourselves who wants us to experience good things. As to the spirit world, I know the Bible speaks of the Witch of Endor who brought Samuel's spirit (in apparently human form) to King Saul to let him know he was doomed. Hence I believe in a spirit world and people who can summon spirits although I've never consulted such a person. It is comforting to me to believe that those I've loved who've passed on are still nearby and wish me well.

Change of topic for a second...

Saw Charlie Yeh last night while having dinner in Princeton. For those of the vintage group that were at the first, I think, MWG at Ken and Nancy's, Charlie (Yehnsx) was there. So, this might apply to Ken/Yun He, Roy/??? (ooo I forget), Tom/Sheila, Gene/Bea and others from this group not specific to the Del-Val group.

He still has his restaurant in the area, but is the guest sushi chef on Monday nights at Blue Point Grille.
