Joey, since you have posted before how good and accurate your medium was, I am curious why you are going to a different one?

Okay, you asked the question so I am happy to answer it, though you may not relate to my way of thinking. This is going to come off as sounding very odd to people who can't relate or don't believe in the spirit world and/or mediums. I love talking about this stuff so no problem, but I have to preface my answer with some background information.

I recently lost my sister unexpectedly on October 15th, and since then I have been helping my nephew (Christian) navigate life. This has been a tough one for us to handle, I lost my sister and best friend. My nephew lost his only remaining parent (as his father passed away tragically when Christian was 3 months old).

Last time we visited our usual medium (May 2022) she passed along validations from my father and my nephew's father (my sister's husband, my brother-in-law). Both my father and my brother-in-law showed up with images of legal papers /files in hand, both said that there were legal papers that needed to be put in proper order. They were very adamant about that, the legal papers were of great importance. My brother-in-law also told us that his son was a bully and he wasn't happy with the way my nephew was acting in relation to his mother. Both my father and my brother-in-law described my sister's situation 100%, and what was happening within her household, her health, and her relationship with her son. There was much more information about that but there is no need to go into that here. My wife and I kept it all to ourselves, it wasn't something we wanted to tell our nephew or my sister, we didn't know how they would react to any of that info. so we kept it to ourselves.

My sister passed away last month, and I was the executor of the estate, and POA prior to her death. One week before my sister's death I had to help getting my nephew's name onto their family home just in case my sister passed away. It was just a good tax saving move just in case things turned for the worst while she was in the hospital, but we did not expect her to pass away. After the death I have been extremely busy with a lot of legal work for my nephew's benefit with the estate, it has been a bit overwhelming to be truthful. I have been working closely with my nephew on a daily basis. I finally felt the need to confide in my nephew about our prior medium experience, we were alone one day and I told him that I experienced his father in past medium readings. I wanted him to consider seeing our medium in the future to have the opportunity to experience the spirits of his father and possibly his mother. It can be a very uplifting experience and I thought it would do him some good. I had no idea if he even believed in that stuff by I decided to tell him about our experience. . My nephew then proceeded to tell me that he had visited a medium last year and she was incredibly accurate, by channeling the spirits of many of our common dead relatives. He told me about some of our relatives who came through during his visit - our grand parents, my father, his father, our uncle, our aunt, etc. So it turns out he has been a believer, and he believed 100% in what came through during his reading. He was blown away by it all, he got pretty emotional about it all when he told me about it. . His girlfriend also lost her father recently and she has a very moving experience with the same medium. This medium also told him who was around him acting as guides on his life, I thought that was pretty cool, so her approach seemed a bit different but equally good, I was intrigued. This other medium is located in my home town, and she is much easier to book with less of a wait time. She charges the same price for two people as she does for one person. My other medium is fantastic, but it takes about 8 months to get a date from her as she is very busy, she is also located about 1 hour from our home. She charges us more for two people (myself and my wife, though cost really isn't a big variable for us). We are going to see this new medium on November 11th, 2022, only about 3 weeks from initial booking request, so better than 8 months. I am only going to this lady based on the positive experience my nephew and his girlfriend had.

In my opinion our other medium was 100% correct on 99% of the validations she gave us, I would say the other 1% is stuff we just can't understand or recognize. With this new medium we will know right away if she is legit. There is no half & half with this stuff, you either know they are legit or they are wrong and it doesn't take long to figure it out. We are booked for a one-hour session for my wife and I, cost is $100. I am mostly concerned with my sister, I am anxious to see if she will come through with a validation. We will not tell the medium about my sister's passing, it will be up to her to tell us. That's how it was with our other medium. My sister also kept her maiden name so the medium can't easily find the relation between us by an internet search, our last names are vastly different.

Many people who don't believe mediums feel that they derive information from you in order to make their "revelations", but that is not the case at all with our medium. Our medium tells you which spirits are in the room with you with 100% accuracy, she does not rely on you for information. Our other medium draws pictures and shows them to you, it is very similar to what Tyler Henry does if you have ever seen his television show. The images shown to us on past visits have been items only we would recognize, they can be very obscure images that no one in this world would know. They were objects in our home with special meaning. She creates the images with zero help with us, she scribbles away for a few minutes and then shows them to you when done. The images are given to her from the spirits around you, she asks no questions of us, and she gets no information from us. This stuff is so crazy that you would only believe it when it happens to you, my wife and I get blown away when the images come across to us.

Sorry to ramble on but I had to give the background info on how we arrived at where we are.

Thank you for wearing out your fingers. You recall I have quizzed you before, as I am a skeptic. I was just curious why you were changing when you really liked the medium you were with. You explained it well. I’m still skeptical, but would never tell you that you are wrong to visit one, or that they are all scams. I am open minded enough to know that there are things we just don’t know. I hope you like the new medium, and get any answers, or validation you are seeking. Please follow up here after the 11th.
If you like her and if she were in my town, I would give her a shot myself!

Thank you for reading all my "stuff" , I do remember you being a skeptic based on past replies we had in other threads. I don't fault anyone for being a skeptic, I am sure I was a skeptic at some point in my life. But when someone gives you so much information that is 100% accurate, and information that no one in this world could possibly know, it becomes too convincing. I will follow up as Kyras always seems interested in my experiences too. I think this may be one of our last visits, we had great experiences thus far and heard from all of the relatives we care about. I am curious to see if my sister shows up. The money is not crazy expensive so why not. I don't know how easy it is to find a medium who is legit or 100% accurate as I've only been to one in my life. It just turns out that she has been has been legit. If I had been to a few mediums who were not legit I would have likely stopped and never tried again, so I can see how people can be skeptics. I can't recommend mediums in general as the good ones may be hard to find. I could recommend the one we visited as we've had good experiences to go by. You almost need to find them through friends or relatives who recommend them based on positive experiences. That's how we found our one medium, she was recommended to me by a friend, he was blown away by her and he had other friends who were blown away by her as well, so it was worth a gamble.

Thank you for posting all this information, Joey. My daughter has been totally enthralled by the paranormal and has gone on several excursions to attend some events. I'd never discourage her from pursuing something of such great interest to her and she holds fast to certain beliefs that my great grandmother also had. I'll look forward to your update after your session.

Thanks very much Darlene. I really stumbled upon this medium matter by accident one day. Deep down inside I always knew that I had never really grieved the passing of my father even though it had been more than 20 years ago. Then a contractor friend of mine told me about an amazing experience he had with a medium that was recommended to him. I then made contact with the same medium, and the experiences have all been very positive. I think this next visit will be our last one for a while, with the passing of my sister I am a bit intrigued to have a visit. I really haven't explored the paranormal or spirit world much beyond this, I am no expert in anything and I only believe what I think is accurate and true. I don't want to convert anyone or convince those who may not believe it, and it is too bad there may be many fakes or bad mediums out there so I don't want everyone to run out and see a medium. I will recommend my medium contact to anyone but I don't know about others.

I will provide an update for those who are interested, yes. Have a great day.

My wife is a very devout Catholic. I am Catholic but not as devout as her. Over the years family and friends have asked her for her prayers when they were sick.In some cases very sick. She said she would and some of these family members and friends got better. God is her medium and has answered her prayers a few times. It’s obvious some people believe in mediums and I respect that.

Growing up Italian my family and relatives are all very devout Roman Catholics, I think my mother has spent the majority of her life in Church, or praying, and saying the rosary, she is one of the most religious persons I've ever known. Prayers are a big part of our religion, and we always hope they are answered. Our religion is all about the after-life and eternal life, and our time on earth being relatively short term. Getting validations about your loved ones being around you fits right in with our religion, and it makes perfect sense to me.

We were raised Catholic. My father was quite religious. His faith was a comfort to him. Of my five siblings, only one is still involved with the Catholic religion. I find the Church too out of touch. The whole mess with the shuffling priests around turned many off from the Church. I can't say I believe in the power of prayer. If prayers really worked, I don't think so many things would be in such a mess. Just my opinion, and likely a topic that could go downhill (or over to politics) quickly.
