Squash - no sprays or irrigation required, which is perfect for us as we want to keep the land as "clean" as possible. The lease income isn't exactly a goldmine but it covers the cost of maintenance for the fences etc. We're still deciding what we want to do long-term with the land. No rush.

I had a delightful day at Huntington Beach, California. It was a little bit chilly so I had shorts on with a fleece jacket but when I get home on Monday it's going to be way colder than freezing with about 5 inches of snow on the ground so this is really nice. Right now in southern California I have, what I call "the sucker" on to pull in the air from outside without having to turn on the AC. It's currently 63° outside at 12:23 a.m. on Thursday morning. I will suck up this weather up until I fly home on Monday and freeze off the balls I don't have.
^10-21-2020. That's me with my ex-boyfriend, Ricky. We get along really well now that he doesn't live in my home. I get to enjoy him for who he is without having to be pissed off by who he isn't.

I I was on my way home I realized I was going right by his mother's home so I s stopped there and arrived before he did. She's a love. I was very happy to visit with her and him for close to 2 hours before I finally headed home.

Beautiful land, Hertz. Is that some sort of barrier wall on the left? Purpose? Just curious. I've always had a distant love affair with New Zealand and follow the All Blacks.

If you're referring to the green and brown streak, it's a shelter belt hedge made up of tightly-planted cypress conifers, they're common here as a means of stopping orchard spray drift. That one is about a quarter mile away at its closest point so any spray that gets past it dissipates before it reaches us - the green field just this side of the shelter belt is the neighbor's land, while the brown part is ours.

Thanks, we are grateful every day to be in such a wonderful place.
