I'm with you Gene. Remove the pinstriping. It just doesn't look right on the car.

Hey Gene, what's really missing on that car is your old, classic black, retro Delaware license plate. You need to put it on the car asap.

Don't worry, Rob. It is going on as soon as I get a letter from the insurance company stating that my old S was totaled. Then, the new one can wear the same tag and, since it is a replacement vehicle, there is no Delaware tax. Otherwise, it will cost me 4.5% of the blue book value to title it. I still have the Indiana tag on it with a signed title, and I have 30 days to register it here.
Incidentally, low digit tags (the right to use them, really) are worth incresingly more, the lower the number, on the secondary market. I think only Rhode Island works the same way. Here are the results of tag prices at a local auction held in May: https://www.wilsonsauction.com/de-tag-prices I bought mine almost 30 years ago at the same auction house.
