Not to worry, I stayed "behind the line" I can't help it if they left their protected area. Zoom used and photo cropped. Don't send the DEM after me!

Grandniece Posh will be getting the cast on her arm removed before Thanksgiving. On the lower end of the estimate to be wearing it.

Having broken quite a few bones in my younger years I know how great a feeling it is to get that thing removed. All the best.

Looks like we're finally going to get the new farm entrance in. Contractors are booked for end of next week, scheduled to take 2 days and the weather looks good: 77 degrees and overcast both days. I'll be away on a hike/tramp/bushwalk (choose your own term) with my daughter so it's possible I'll head out of town past a large open drain early Thursday morning, and come home past a lovely new culvert and crossing late Friday afternoon. The crossing will be at least 30ft wide and rated for vehicles up to 110,000lb.

I'll then be able to build the front fence and gates, and nail up the new address marker. It's all starting to come together nicely, harvesting is due to start mid-December so we could be finished by then.

I needed a new winter hat, so I decided to get one with my favourite soccer team (Juventus) logo on it. While shopping on Amazon they twisted my arm to take their $50 free bonus gift card. All I had to do was apply for their credit card, no strings attached.

So I applied for their credit card, and I got an answer to my credit card application in 2 minutes. I proceeded with an order for my $35 winter hat with their $50 credit applied, and free shipping. So I got a free hat with free delivery and no obligations , pretty cool. I am always amazed how much money Amazon gives away, I don't know how they stay in business but they must be doing something right ?

Stock market up 521 points yesterday. And, signs of interest rate cuts, perhaps next March.

The US economy is poised to do well, and homes there are still affordable from what I can tell, completely opposite to ours. Our Country is purposely tanking the economy trying to control the very inflation that our government created. Lay off notices are being sent out by many companies right now, home sales are way down but they are still unaffordable. A huge window and door supplier in my area just told us they are laying off employees as sales are way down due to slumping new home construction, at the same time they tell me that prices are going up 5% January 1st, 2024, sales are poor but prices going up ? Everything is backwards and upside down IMO.

Homes are definitely NOT affordable here nor are property taxes or rents.
