Hey Coop

Do you think that a left hand drive car will be in much demand in the UK, or are you looking at a RHD here in the US?

this would be made as a RHD, a company called Rimmer Brothers in England makes the parts need to make the change.

coop,

Why bother to restore something? Get one that is in good shape now and then just do the conversion. IMHO that is always the cheapest way to go, especially where you know your goal is to sell it in England. I know I cannot restore a car for less than what it costs to buy a restored car.

Other considerations:

Shipping costs.
Import duty.
Registration taxes and insurance in England.

You might want to post this question in the UK forum and see what the folks in Blighty have to say.
