Going to St. Louis
I'll be in St. Louis this week (Thur-Sun). I've been before, but all I got to see was the Arch since I only had one free afternoon. I have a little more time this weekend. Anyone have any suggestions about places to go and things to see? Restaurants?
(I've already checked and the Cards are out of town. )
Thanks for any suggestions!

Hey Julie, how about a ride on the riverboat. I haven't done it yet but plan to the next time I'm in that area. Did you go up in the arch? Don't they also have a famous zoo there? (if you like that sort of thing) Enjoy your trip whatever you do.

There are many things to see in St. Louis. It all depends on what you like to do and how much time you have on your hands.
Here is a list of some of our attractions:
1) Riverboat Cruise
2) Riverboat Gambling
3) Missouri Wineries (About 1 hour outside St. Louis. Very Pretty drive, great wine)
4) St. Louis Zoo (is Excellent)
5) St. Louis Science Center
6) Forrest Park
7) St. Louis Union Station
8) Some great Malls for shopping - Galleria, St. Louis Mills
9) Meremac Caverns
10) and many more...
Drop me a PM or visit the Gateway forum if you would like additional details. I do have some free time on Sunday and may be able to meet up with you and show you some sites.
Have a great and safe trip.

Thanks for the ideas, y'all! The riverboat gambling/cruise had never crossed my mind! And Meramec Caverns sounds like a good idea...I've only been to Luray Caverns. I'd like to hit Union Station, too.
8ball--unfortunately we're leaving Sun morning, so I won't be able to do anyting much on Sunday. Besides, I'll be with a bunch of lawyers and I wouldn't wish that on a kind fellow S owner! Thank you for the offer, though.
