Penn Yan may be the county seat and it has grown by about a thousand since I left. But my high school graduating class held the record (and I believe it still does) for size at 212.
Hammondsport is also a village. And its almost half as big as Penn Yan. Now if you want to talk little we can talk about Branchport, or Gorham.
Still sounds to me like you came from a big city, my graduating class was 63 people

Ok, I see your Branchport and your Gorham, and I raise you a Pultney

Mom and Dad had a cottage on the west side of Keuka, just south of the bluff's end, one of there many cottages
I know most of the Finger Lakes Region like the back of my hand

Gorham, wonderful little spot, I love the cemetery I typically stop here for a rest when I'm running through on the motorcycle.
This pic was taken a few weeks ago on a Saturday morning when I was running down to Dundee for breakfast

Wow, does that pic bring back memories. I must have passed that structure hundreds of times on trips from Penn Yan to Canandaigua and points north and west. And the snow reminds me of why I now live here.

I suspected that shot might be enjoyed by you
Where you live now does indeed look wonderful
And I have to say, I just don't think I could live someplace very long that did not have winter
Maybe I got a screw loose, but I really enjoy the change in seasons and the variety
Last night was the 1st motorcycle ride of the year, it was awesome
What's that expression - absence makes the heart grow fonder
I'll be pulling both cars out in the next couple weeks from storage, and although one is 22-years old and the other is 10-years old, it will feel like I just got 2 brand new cars, for free...
